I am currently in Kreuzberg in the most beautiful hubs i have seen so far 
, attending a barcamp, the socialcamp.
With a freestyle-session at 3pm today, i want to introduce the DeepaMehta Project to all participants here and demonstrate one interface-prototype which is deeply interrelated with and influenced by the DeepaMehta Platform and it`s current user-interface paradigm. One difference is, that it is designed to run on a touch-display. There will be one DeepaMehta application which is working as a CMS for creating multimedial, (currently) hyperlinked content maps.
Here i started to document it’s current status of development and a rudimentary beginning of a “How To” for creating own scenarios. A demo as a web-client for trying out (no touch for me here) where you find our map about the Penguins which is designed to run in the penguin house of the Berlin Zoo. We as a team of developers are happy for every conceptual and detailed feedback for further development, in three weeks we want to finish our prototype and have a beta release and we know that this is not meant to be used from a consumer yet.
My Aim for the session is discussing ideas with all particpants for creating a scenario about global interrelated ngo’s, projects and social actions. Feel free to use the map as a starting point or pattern for your own content scenario. In DeepaMehta you can configure the colors and symbols used by the interface to adopt the look&feel to your specific content scenario.
For better collaboration you are now able to work with us on one map about social actions at our deepamehta.de server. To contribute interviews or videos for the map you need to use the signed applet and join the “Social Actions” Workspace, try out how files will be handled in collaboration on our server with publishing a map to our Shared Workspace.
