On Wednesday the 2nd April, the DeepaMehta Project will be present at the re:publika’08. Joerg Richter and Andreas Wichmann will talk about “Shared structures of meaning”. The lexture-title is inspired by the article from Janet H. Murray “Inventing the medium”(in “The New Media Reader”, MIT Press, 2003).
In the evening, starting at 8pm, there will be the “DeepaMehta Workshop : After Eight” for getting in touch with the DeepaMehta Approach and some people of the Community.
Dear DeepaMehta Friends,
the Second Release Candidate is available.
Fortunately someone took care about the windows installation problem, thats great.
Now there is a graphical installation and configuration routine based on the ant files.
Other enhancements since the last release candidate:
=> Extended README (Administration, Client-Server, Web-Frontends)
=> New Eye Icons for TopicMap and Search and Hide Menu
=> Reduced Package Size from 26 MB to 12 MB

Since a few days there is the first release candidate of the 2.0b8 DeepaMehta Version available, we would like to invite every interested developer or experienced user to download this pre-release and report his experience with the new application functionalities and the extended collaboration features.
