The last news report on this page about DeepaMehta and it’s proceedings is now over a year ago. Even if we still have not that much human power for this part of the process i try to provide some informations about current status of development and about ongoing projects within our community. I would appreciate any effort of writers to contribute to this blog.
The next release is within our grasp. Since the last release is nearly 18 months ago, all the improvements still have to be written down in a release note. The Help Files need to be rewritten cause of the new installation and configuration routine but actually i don’t want to report on what’s not done yet, therefore we have other pages.
In the next week there is a DeepaMehta introduction evening with the co-founder and lead architect of DeepaMehta in Berlin. Some people of the community showed interest in producing screencasts for special working scenarios, this would be a great improvement for new users of DeepaMehta. Here is a good starting point to join their initiative, there is still some conceptual work to do. Another volunteer with experience as an author started to write a new approach for an user guide, it will be accessible right here.
